- Allergan has acquired Esprit Pharma which is now a wholly-owned subsidiary.
- Macroflux has changed its name and will henceforth be known as Zosano Pharma.
- PacMab ltd has changed its name to Immune System Therapeutics ltd.
- Schering-Plough has acquired Organon (and Nobilon) which were subsidiaries of Akzo Nobel. This essentially ends Akzo Nobel's involvement in pharma.
