Placenta-specific 1 or PLAC1, is expressed in the placenta and is believed to be linked to trophoblast development. Research suggests it is upregulated in cancer cell lines.

A role in the targeting of HIV-1 GAG and GAGPOL polyproteins to the plasma membrane has been suggested.

PAS domain containing 1 (PASD1) is a testis-specific protein that is widely expressed in solid tumour types and large B-cell lymphoma. It may function as a transcription factor.

interleukin 17 receptor B
