Pharmaprojects troubleshooting FAQ's

Q: I have a message saying, "Error connecting to the database..." on my machine when I launch PP on the web, what do I do?

A: The above error can be caused by any of the three following things:

  • 'Local Area Connection' is not connected. (e.g. network cable is unplugged)
  • Proxy server settings are not configured correctly
  • Firewall is blocking access
  • You should speak to your system administrator regarding this issue; they should be able to troubleshoot the issue. If you, or your system administrator, require further details of how to resolve this issue, please see 'Advanced Troubleshooting Options'.

    If you are unable to resolve the issue, and you or your system administrator have tried the ‘Advanced Troubleshooting Options’, please contact either your account manager, or the Pharmaprojects Service Desk, quoting your order reference number (this can be found on any invoice).
