Pharmacokinetic profile
The powerful search facilities available on Pharmaprojects can be used for a variety of business purposes. This month's tip describes how to search for drug candidates via their pharmacokinetic properties, in particular, how to search for candidates with a half-life of greater than 24 hours. This may aid in the identification of suitable candidates for reformulation.
- In the Pharmacokinetics section, select t1/2. Enter the number of hours you wish to search for, eg. >24hours and click Add.
- After searching and displaying the results, all hits represent compounds that match the specified pharmacokinetic profile.
