Identifying new products within a date range
The powerful search facilities available on Pharmaprojects can be used for a variety of business purposes. This month's tip describes how to search for new drug candidates in Pharmaprojects, entered onto the database within a specific date range, for a specific company. This allows investors to track pipeline amendments for specific companies.
- Select the major event field 'New Product in Pharmaprojects' and add this to the search strategy.
- Enter the date-range to search for new products within (i.e AFTER 01/01/2007). Add this to the search strategy.
- Select the company you wish to view the news compounds of and add this to the search strategy.
- Add brackets so the strategy follows Boolean logic. Click search to obtain number of hits.
